Quadretto handmade alterato per la "Dream Challenge 3.13"


All'inizio, lo volevo chiamare "quadretto alterato", ma in fin dei conti è un quadretto creato dal nulla, quindi alla fine ho deciso di chiamarlo "quadretto handmade alterato".
Sì, perché ho utilizzato un'immagine stampata da mia madre al lavoro su metallo e l'ho letteralmente incollata sotto ad un cartoncino che ho riciclato (non ricordo da dove veniva, deve trattarsi di un cartoncino che era insieme ad una rivista con qualche gadget) e ritagliato delle dimensioni giuste per fare da cornice all'immagine.
Poi ho pennellato la cornice con il gesso, l'ho lasciata asciugare e l'ho decorata semplicemente con fiori, farfalle (alcune anche di acetato, guardate la foto dei dettagli!!), bottoni, ritagli e colore in gel.

Con questo lavoro, che invierò presto ad un'amica speciale, partecipo alla "Dream Challenge 3.13" dello Scrap Dreams blog che richiede l'uso di metallo a piacere.

At the beginning, I wanted to call it "altered frame", but when all is said and done it's a frame created from scratch, so at the end I decided to call it "handmade altered frame".
Yes, because I used an image which my mother printed at work onto metal and I literally glued it below a recycled cardboard (I didn't remember where I found it, maybe it's a cardboard which was together with a magazine and a gadget) and I cut it in the perfect shape for make it become a frame for the image.
Then I painted the frame with the gesso, I let it dry and I simply decorated it with flowers, butterflies (some of them also in acetate papers, just look at the photo with details!), buttons, scraps and color in gel stick.

With this work, which I'll send it soon to a special friend, I take part in the "Dream Challenge 3.13" by Scrap Dreams blog which requests the use of metal as desired.
